How
Much Does My Fish Weigh?
Have you ever wondered how much your fish in hand weighs, but you don't have
a scale? Well, all you need is a tape measure, and a good memory. When you
get home, log onto the Web and cruise over to the Robert
P. Mohr's web page. Look on the bottom left of the screen and double-click
on"Fly Fishing," and then on "Fish Weight Calculator."
Now you'll have to retract all the "fish tales" you have brought
back to the AFF meetings!!

from Houston County Lake - this place has huge and I mean HUGE sunfish!
73 degrees water temp, stained with clear banks
- Excellent
black bass limits to 9 lb. 2 oz and 9 lb. 12 oz. on black/orange
rouges and watermelon lizards in 1-5' water in coves on north and south side
of the lake all day.
- Excellent
crappie average 1 to 1 1/2 lb. each with limits of 25 per person
every other day on live minnows and chartreuse jigs in 1-5' water on sandy
banks and around boat houses on north side of the lake towards the dam and
behind and between the islands on the north side with 5-7:30 PM best.
- Excellent
large red ear bream average 1 lb each and panfish in numbers of
approximately 25 each on sandy banks approximately 1' deep in coves on the
north side of lake.
- Excellent
catfish in creek channels 15-20' water 3-5 each to 10 lb. on cut
shad on trot lines.
The lake on live worms.
