This book was originally written by Bud Priddy. Since Bud's death, the book has been revised by some of the best fly fishers in central Texas, several of which are members of the Austin Fly Fishers. If you're serious about fishing Texas hill country streams, rivers and lakes, you must have this book. You'll learn where and when to fish, access points, what flies to use and where to stay.

A must have companion book is 'The Roads Of Texas' which contains all of the county road river access points that are refered to in Bud's book.

The Austin Fly Fishers encourage every Texas fly fisherman to have a copy of this book and follow the regulations set forth in it. This book is available at area sporting goods stores as well as Texas Parks And Wildlife offices.
